Artist's Comments

This is my most recent final piece from art, which I know doesn't make sense, but it was fun to do :) A prize if you can guess what it is!

Its not completely finished, I need to work into the middle section more which will hopefully done in the next week or so.

Thank you! :) And I believe you have the closest answer yet, you noticed the 'anenomes' -they're actually fossils, but its not on a beach, its a glass jar full of gel sat on a table with the fossils infront :)

This wasn't for the exam, no it was the specialist project outcome, so the coursework based outcome. For my exam I did surface, and painted three self portraits for it - got so sick of painting my face! lol. I'm on the OCR board - what did you do?

woo yay for being close! bit of a strange concept with the glass of gel but it does look really gorgeous! you thinking of doing a print thing of it?

oh right im on AQA so we dont have specialist project outcome...

ah i see! im sure they are really awesome judging by your other portraiture work!

ha i dont like doing anything but portraits! even my teachers noticed she put it in my report! well i did a project on subdued lighting and changed it to involve alfred hitchcock and jack vettriano i actually had lots of fun doing it! and got more into photography because of it so im actually putting stuff on deviantart(only just figuired out how to spell that rofl) now! theres a one of the photos i took from the project on my page if you want to look? i want to put my final piece up to but i may have deleted it off my computer....

aaand i think that is the longest comment anyone has ever posted ever!

I know that was the most random project i've done, some of the drawings had the fossils in the gel too. I never got round to doing a print of it because it's not actually the finished version, I added some slight adjustments to it but I don't think I ever took a photo. I wont get it back now til september or january...lol. Oh well.

Sounds like you had an interesting project! Would love to see it when you can get it up. And I shall divert to your page just as soon as I finished writing this comment...which isn't quite as long as yours!
